Dear Rachel I would just like to let you know again just how incredibly grateful I am to you for looking after Ty for me whilst we were on holiday. I couldn't believe how incredibly happy he was and how amazing he looked! You have shamed me with his beautifully groomed coat but I shall endeavour to spend time grooming him at least 3 times a week (it does keep the moult down!!).
I loved the fact that he virtually had "free rein" and I feel sorry for him now as he probably had SO much more attention with you than he does here on a daily basis! Having said that he settled instantly on his return and was overjoyed that I took him to see my sisters cat Bobo on his first night back! As you know I am going back to England for a six weeks again this year and we'll let you know the dates as soon as flights are booked.

Our 2 dogs Lenny and Jazz have stayed with Rachel Dellar at Kennels on Candy on multiple occassions over the past 18 months. The most recent being for 4 weeks in December when we relocated to Australia. We always felt very happy and relaxed leaving our babies with Rachel, they would always get very exited arriving at Hydropaws, and it was very obvious how much they enjoyed being there. This reflects the great love and
care she gave them each time they stayed. Our dogs are not particularly well behaved, however Rachel has a special way with them that they both respond really well to. They are always in exceptionally good condition and worn out when we pick them up! I have recommended Rachel to friends who are also very happy with the service and care at Knnels on Candy. I feel saddened that they will no longer be able to stay with her when we go away now we are in Oz. Thanks Rachel, Lenny and Jazz will miss you!!
We spent quite some time researching and inspecting kennels for our dogs and were absolutely delighted to find Kennels on Candy. After a talk with Rachel we were convinced we had found someone who really CARES about the dogs she owns and also the dogs that she looks after. Our dogs have stayed with Rachel for short and long stay “holidays” many times and we know that they receive the best of attention whilst we are away. We do sometimes wonder if they appreciate the lovely views and surrounding that they are in! We have recommended Hydropaws to friends who now also use the kennels on a regular basis.

Having just adopted a German Shepherd from the Blind Foundation we began looking for a safe, friendly and caring boarding kennel for our "Chippy" when we go away. We were so lucky to have found Rachel, who had just opened her kennels in Te Awamutu and although it is a 25 minute drive from our home we know that Chippy will be well cared for. Rachel obviously has a love and great knowledge of dogs. The kennels are very spacious, sunny and clean with a large run area. We like Kennels on Candy also because it is a smaller kennel and there are not 40+ dogs racing around.
